This area is about 2 hours inland from popular beach towns like Tamarindo and Flamingo and even closer from Papagayo Gulf o Salinas Bay (1.5 hours).
As soon as you arrive, get ready for an exciting day! Horses will be waiting for you to enjoy a 20 minutes ride throughout a trail (2.5km) that is spread out along the property, some parts are open to admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and some parts are hidden deep in the tropical forest, so it will be more jungle. At the highest point of the property, you will enjoy the amazing Zip Lines tour, an hour and half adventure activity full of emotions, which consists on a top-security system of platforms and zip-lines that goes from one tree to another.
There are 8 thrilling ziplines, up to 250m (820ft) in height and 400m (1300ft) in length and speeds that go up to 60km/h (37mph).
This is the perfect place to spot some of the Costa Rican wildlife, such as howler monkeys, keel billed toucans or coatis. After getting through the canopy, you definitely won´t miss the next activity: the water slide with its 450 meters (1476 ft) long, full of excitement with some twists and in the middle of the most breathtaking natural setting.
It can get really fast so hold on and enjoy it! At the lunch time, you will be delighted with some Costa Rican local flavors.
The buffet includes vegetables, cream soup, rice, beans, salads, meats, and natural juice. Good options to be filled up! For the afternoon you will be immersed into a geothermal experience! After a 5 minutes’ walk you will be lead to the volcanic muds and thermal pools.
There are two pots available full of hot volcanic mud that you can slather all over yourself, and let it dry for half an hour and afterwards you’ll be able to take a shower to wash it off.
Then, indulge in a soothing soak in the thermal waters, there is one giant pool with 3 different temperatures and two smaller and more intimate, all are covered with nature providing the perfect relaxing sanctuary to enjoy the jungle surrounds.
