Get lost in nature in the mystical cloud forest of Monteverde.
This area is recognized as an international ecotourism destination for its protected cloud forests, rich in tropical flora and fauna that supports six distinct ecological communities of plants and animals.
It is located in the Tilarán Mountain Range, approximately 4662 ft above sea level. You will feel the fresh breeze and listen hundreds of sounds of natural world.

This excursion is operated very early in the morning in order to make the most of your nature experience! As the transportation climb the mountains, you will notice a dramatically change on the scenery from tropical to cloud forest.
Once in Monteverde, you will enjoy different nature and cultural activities including a comfortable 15 minute aerial tram which moves slowly to the top of the forest, allowing you the possibility to admire emerald-green foliage like mosses, ferns bromeliads and orchids.
Tree top walk is an eco-tourist activity, which combines trails and 6 suspension bridges with distances up to 774ft and heights up to 230ft.
Along the 1 hour and 30 minutes’ walk you will be able to discover nature from bottom to top and have impressive views from different perspectives, the guide will help you to understand the interactions between the ecosystems, immersing you in the deepest secrets of the jungle.
Monteverde is also a great destination to experience the culture. Quakers and local families established a formal community and developed some of the most iconic traditions of the region.
For the afternoon you will enjoy a Costa Rican lunch and afterwards, you will visit a family-run business and learn all about the traditional methods of production in a local farm.
You will visit coffee and cacao plantations as well as sugar cane crops. In each station, the guide will explain you the artisan process using typical artifacts that are involved in the production.

The day of the excursion, you should go to the lobby of your selected hotel and please look for our staff dressed with bright orange shirt and green pants.

Approximate Drop Off Time: Between 07:40pm to 08:10pm, depending on the selected hotel
Recommendations: Comfortable clothing, hiking shoes, raincoat, sun visor hat or similar, Sunglasses with UV protection, Sunscreen, insects repellent, aluminum water bottle, camera and binoculars.
In case of passengers with reduced mobility, heart or respiratory problems, epilepsy, overweight, or women in any stages of pregnancy, please advise us in advance in order to take the previsions and provide them with the best possible care.
Children Policy: Infant from 0-5 years are not allowed. Children rate apply from 6 to 11 years old
Important Remarks: This is a regular basis tour that operates with a pre-established schedule and requires a minimum of 2 passengers to operate and maximum of 70 passengers. Maximum passengers per guide: 12 passengers.
